Make Your Voice Heard: Help Shape the Future of EOS
As we move forward into 2025, we are excited to continue improving the user journey on EOS. Your voice matters and we would like to hear from you, the EOS Community, on which features and functionality you would like to see prioritized. Whether it’s improving Unicove to enhance the on-chain DeFi experience or by making the EOS ecosystem easier to navigate with an App Discovery page, we want to hear what is most important to you.
To ensure that we are prioritizing what matters most, we have created a brief survey where you can provide feedback. This feedback could influence the prioritization of these tasks, so please take a moment and let us know what you would like to see happen this year. Unicove Functionality and Features
Unicove is constantly evolving and we want to ensure the updates we prioritize are the ones that matter most to you. Take a look at the list below to get a clearer picture of the updates that are under consideration.
Token Values – A real-time, open-source price tracking service for non-system tokens. This makes portfolio management easier by allowing users to view current and historical token prices for all of their on-chain tokens directly in Unicove.
NFT Support – An interface where users can view and manage their EOS-based NFTs. This reduces the need for users to switch between multiple platforms.
Additional Currencies – Support for additional fiat and crypto price defaults beyond USD. This allows users to view token values in their preferred currency.
Token Swapping – A built-in token swap feature directly within Unicove. This allows for quick and secure conversions between tokens while reducing the need for users to switch between multiple platforms.
Smart Contract Table Viewer – An improved table viewer with enhanced filtering, pagination, and search capabilities. This makes it easier to analyze smart contract data, ensuring developers and advanced users can efficiently access critical blockchain information.
MSIG Mode – A simplified way to create multisig transactions. This is particularly useful for teams and DAOs that require multiple signatures for added security and governance.
Filterable Account History – Advanced filtering for transaction history, allowing users to filter by contract, action type, or date. This ensures quicker and more customizable tracking of past transactions.
WRAM Support – Easy wrapping and unwrapping of RAM within Unicove, with improved visibility and transfer options. This helps users more easily track and manage their WRAM.
EOS EVM Bridge – A bridge interface for transferring tokens between EOS native and EVM environments. This ensures a seamless experience for users engaging with both EOS native and EVM.
IBC Bridge – Restore functionality of the IBC contracts between EOS, WAX and Telos; create an IBC bridge interface in Unicove to allow IBC token transfers. This enables smooth token transfers across these chains, expanding DeFi and gaming opportunities.
Network Usage Metrics – An open-source API displaying real-time network analytics, including user activity, contract usage, and fee generation. This transparency helps users, developers, and investors track the health and growth of the EOS ecosystem.
EOS EVM Support – Direct access to EOS EVM and exSat functionalities within Unicove, allowing users to send, receive, and manage balances seamlessly. This makes it easier to switch between EOS-native and EVM-based applications.
App Discovery – A page on Unicove that displays EOS decentralized apps (Dapps), helping users find new projects, games, and services on the network. This page enhances visibility of Dapps across the ecosystem.
Coinbase Offramp – A direct conversion option for EOS to fiat, allowing a simple path for users to cash out to a bank account (ACH) or Coinbase account.
News Aggregator – A feed of EOS news and updates, ensuring users stay informed about key developments without having to search multiple sources.
Referendum System – An interface for the old EOS referendum contract that allows the polling of token holders for their opinions on specific topics. This provides a platform for community members to have their voice heard.
EOS Features
Beyond Unicove, we are also exploring new on-chain experiences to attract users and enhance the functionality of EOS. Here are some of the ideas under consideration:
Token Creation Platform – A one-click tool for launching new tokens with customizable supply and distribution settings. This lowers the barrier to entry for projects looking to create their own tokens.
On-chain forum – A blockchain-based discussion platform, similar to Steem/Hive, designed for EOS-related conversations. Unlike traditional forums, this would be decentralized and censorship-resistant.
Web Authenticator – A secure, on-chain transaction signer integrated with an account creation service. This provides a more seamless way to interact with EOS applications.
DAO-like Tools – A suite of tools for creating and managing community groups. This feature allows groups to create essential governance features directly on-chain.
Thank you for your continued support and input! Your feedback is essential in shaping the future of EOS. Take a moment to share your thoughts in our survey and help prioritize the features that matter most to you. Click here to participate and be part of the evolution.
