The EOS EVM has emerged as a crucial driver for the EOS Network’s adoption. To further accelerate development on the EVM layer, the EOS Network Foundation (ENF) has introduced a new incentive program for EVM-based applications. This initiative aims to provide $50,000 per qualifying dApp deploying on the EOS EVM.

The EOS EVM Incentive Program (EEIP) not only offers financial support, but also additional resources to assist participants with marketing and development. This incentive program is intended to further extend the ENF’s mission to coordinate financial and non-financial forms of support for EOS while also complementing other funding mechanisms such as the ENF Grant Framework, Pomelo, and EOS Network Ventures

Fostering Positive Economic Activity on EOS in Challenging Times

Collaborative communities, when empowered with resources, can generate immense value for an ecosystem. However, access to resources during a bear market can be challenging for many projects.

The Incentive Program offers another opportunity for projects to access funding, marketing, and development resources during this critical time in the broader Web3 industry. As more projects embrace a multichain approach, this program ensures that the EOS EVM remains a viable option for deployment. Importantly, this incentive program’s impact extends far beyond user experience and infrastructure, as the ENF business development team prioritizes projects with large user bases that can help bring about increased engagement within the broader EOS ecosystem.

The provision of economic incentives to builders has a positive impact on the overall economic activity within the EOS network. New dApps significantly enhance the utility of the EOS token as revenue from EOS EVM gas fees is burned. As new builders enter the ecosystem through this program, they become familiar with other initiatives, applications, and funding avenues, leading to more impactful engagement. The recent release of EOS EVM v0.5.0, enabling DeFi liquidity incentives through Yield+, further strengthens the ecosystem’s potential.

The Exponential Expansion of EOS EVM

The newly announced EEIP is poised to play a pivotal role in growing the EOS EVM ecosystem. Even before funds are fully deployed, there has already been a massive influx of applications since the EOS EVM launched. This rapid growth, combined with financial and other support offered by the program, enhances the network’s infrastructure and fosters community expansion. Moreover, the availability of funding through various other avenues positions EOS as the preferred blockchain for EVM applications as the broader Web3 industry recovers. With all of this in mind, the EOS community can expect the EOS EVM ecosystem to continue expanding at an exponential rate, as funding continues to increase during a time when other ecosystems are forced to pull back funding due to macroeconomic conditions

If you are involved in an EVM-based project and wish to be considered for the EOS EVM Incentive Program, offering up to $50,000 for deploying on the EOS EVM, fill out this form.

Through harnessing the potential of the EOS EVM and leveraging the incentives provided for its continued expansion, we will accelerate the growth and adoption of the EOS EVM and the wider EOS ecosystem of which it is part.

EOS Network

The EOS Network is a 3rd generation blockchain platform powered by the EOS VM, a low-latency, highly performant, and extensible WebAssembly engine for deterministic execution of near feeless transactions; purpose-built for enabling optimal Web3 user and developer experiences. EOS is the flagship blockchain and financial center of the Antelope framework, serving as the driving force behind multi-chain collaboration and public goods funding for tools and infrastructure through the EOS Network Foundation (ENF).

EOS EVM

The EOS EVM is an emulation of the Ethereum EVM, housed within an EOS smart contract. It offers feature parity to other EVMs in the space but with unmatched speed, performance and compatibility. EOS EVM connects the EOS ecosystem to the Ethereum ecosystem by allowing developers to deploy a wide array of Solidity-based digital assets and innovative dApps on EOS. Developers can use EOS EVM to take advantage of Ethereum’s battle-tested open source code, tooling, libraries and SDKs, while leveraging the superior performance of EOS.

EOS Network Foundation

The EOS Network Foundation (ENF) was forged through a vision for a prosperous and decentralized future. Through our key stakeholder engagement, community programs, ecosystem funding, and support of an open technology ecosystem, the ENF is transforming Web3. Founded in 2021, the ENF is the hub for EOS Network, a leading open source platform with a suite of stable frameworks, tools, and libraries for blockchain deployments. Together, we are bringing innovations that our community builds and are committed to a stronger future for all.
